Updated Creve Coeur Map Available
An updated map of Creve Coeur Memorial Lake Park is now available on our Trails section. The new map shows the completion of the Bootlegger's Run addition.

Creve Coeur Workday- Saturday, March 27th
What: Help continue construction that will extend the Bootlegger’s Run Trail along the hillsides overlooking the lake.
When: Saturday, March 27th From 9am - 1pm.
Where: Upper Creve Coeur Lake Park (Entrance off Dorsett Rd - Follow Signs to the meeting area at the North end of the park). (See GORC's Creve Coeur page for directions and details of the park).
What to bring: Gloves, Sturdy shoes, eye protection, and something to drink on the trail.
GORC & St. Louis County Parks provide: Trail building tools, instructions on trail building, and safety guidelines

Volunteers will be rewarded with give-a-ways from Big Shark Bicycle Company with lunch and breakfast snacks provided by St. Louis County Parks. Afterwards, if it's dry, we'll ride the trail that was just built.

Creve Coeur Workday - October 17th, 9am-1pm
Creve Coeur Lake Memorial Park, Bootlegger’s Run Trail Extension

GORC will be continuing the section of trail that was started last spring along the steep hillside at the North end of the park, heading out and around a peninsula, then exiting the woods opposite the playground area where the road splits into a 1-way loop. When the leaves drop this section will have scenic views of the lake and valley below.
When: Saturday, October 17 From 9am - 1pm (FREE LUNCH!) - Bike or Hike After !

Creve Coeur Sunday Workday Recap
A big THANK YOU goes out to all the volunteers who showed up to help build, South County Cyclery for donating gift cards and swag to give out, the guys from Mesa coming out to help, and of course O'Fallon Brewery for supplying some liquid beverages that were enjoyed afterwards. A lot of benching was done and the trail built so far looks great.
We've got about 1/3 of the next section cut in, and once some chainsaw work gets done, will be ridable as an out and back. We'll post up later once it's done.
