Lost Valley Workday - November 7th - 9am - 1pm
We will be building the next phase of singletrack at Lost Valley. We'll be building a 1-mile extension to the "bridge reroute" we completed last spring. This will make it all singletrack and all in the woods, eliminating about 1/4-mile of boring fenceline, sometimes muddy, doubletrack. We have to build 1 mile in 2 workdays. WE NEED HELP!
Nov 7th, 9am to 1pm we work, then we lunch, then we ride.
Please post up on the message board if you're going to show so we can get an idea on food order size.

GORC Dues For 2010
Starting in 2010 GORC's membership dues will increase to $20.00.
This is due to several factors. We have kept our dues low in the past help our members but in the New Economy we have been forced to make a few changes. Our insurance premium has gone up quite significantly and to cover costs we have to unfortunately increase our membership pricing. This insurance is very important as it covers trail workdays and other construction issues.
IMBA has increased its "core" membership to $50.00. Bearing this fact in mind, if you consider your local trail advocacy group (GORC!) as your most influential source of trail mileage and maintenance then our going membership rate is a literal STEAL! We - GORC - is always looking for sources of funding to continue our trail building progress in the St. Louis area.
Things are looking extremely bright regarding increased trail mileage and improving existing trails but we are also needing to increase our funding sources to keep the proverbial "ball" rolling. If you are aware of any corporate sponsorships, grants, or anything else that could financially help the club we would be very interested hearing from you.
See you on the trail!
