At last night's meeting for the month of September, GORC was presented with a check for nearly $600.00 from the proceeds of the Broemmelsiek race. The race promoters are avid mountain bikers who wanted to give back to the organization that has built many of the singletrack trails in St. Charles county, including the ones at Broemmelsiek Park. The proceeds originated from the multiple race entry fees.
The donation will be used to fund ongoing trail projects and workday needs. GORC is very appreciative of the groups and individuals that donate their hard-earned funds and in turn will continue to advocate and build sustainable multi-use trails around the St. Louis region.
