2011 National Take A Kid Mountain Biking Day Massive Turnout

Wow, what a day! With fantastic fall weather and a incredible turnout of kids - 120+, TAKMTB Day was phenomenal! All the kids had a great time, GORC stationed many of the 7 different bike challenges on the skills course and all the sponsors offered great schwag, advice and tune-ups.

GORC has a Picasa gallery up at the 2011 National Take A Kid Mountain Biking Day at Broemmesliek Park in St. Charles county.

The Big Switch: Part I

This weekend I finished the enormous task of switching our gallery photos over to Picasa web albums. This will free our web resources up and allows for a much better viewing experience. Each gallery has a map associated with the photo locations.

It's a work in progress so let me know if you come across mis-linked pages or items; I tried to check them all but it got real late tonight.

This is the first part of a much larger project I'm working on throughout 2011. More details to follow.

Greensfelder Workday Update and Gallery

Thank you to everyone that came out today. We managed to armor three major wet spots, deburm some of Declue and open a 0.7 mile extension to the Declue Trail. Then we rode our bikes on some of the best conditions Greensfelder has been in April in forever. What a great day! Thanks for helping.
