Updated Maps Posted

Updated maps for Broemmelsiek, Castlewood, Chubb, Cliff Cave, Council Bluff, Creve Coeur, Forest City, Indian Camp Creek, Klondike, Lost Valley, Quail Ridge, Silver Lake and SIUE.

Only Castlewood, Creve Coeur, and SIUE show additional trails, and CW only because the park added signs and officially named some of the existing trails. We are showing a few that GORC always just considered social trails.

ICCP and SIUE Maps Updated

You can find minor updates to the Indian Camp Creek and SIUE trail maps on their respective pages under the Trails tab.

New - Forest City Trail Map Posted

Bet you didn't know this trail system existed! Built within the past year or so, it features 7.5 miles of singletrack loop located right outside St. James, MO. Next time you are traveling with your bike, check it out. Route 66 Bicycles was the primary volunteer pool for this trail system.Check it out and plan a trip.

Google Trails Map - Large Update and More Wet Weather Options

I have updated the GORC Google-based Trails map. The interactive map now shows additional wet weather riding options including Columbia Bottoms, St. Louis Riverfront Trail, Chain of Rocks, Madison County and Great River Road paved trails. The icon descriptions and mileage are updated.

The best experience with the map is to view it within Google Maps here.

2011 Maps Posted

All of our maps have been updated and revised as needed for the 2011 season. You can find the maps on their respective Trail pages. Look for possible new maps of outlying regions in the coming months. Maybe.

New Maps Posted

New maps of Greensfelder, Lost Valley and Creve Coeur have been added to the Trails area.

Site Updates and More

We've got a few new changes on the website to cap off the 2009 year.

1. Lisa Troehler is the latest lifetime member and has been added to the roll on the membership page.

2. Our facebook badge can now be found on the right side of the home page and directly links to our facebook site. This is a great way to keep up-to-date with our latest projects. Some of the trail stewards even post progress reports and pics while out at the park.

3. GORC made it into the St. Charles Suburban Journal courtesy of Doug Smith and the O'Fallon Rotary Club. Find it here. It's near the bottom of the page.

4. All of our maps now reflect the new logo and copyright/date info. Some maps, including Klondike and Lost Valley, have been updated to include the new trail additions.

5. A better "recognition" page and new "Clothing" page will be coming soon. See all our current and past clothing designs and find out how to score a super exclusive new T-Shirt.

2010 is right around the corner. With everyone's support we can provide another great decade of growth, sustainability and stewardship.
